Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Aged 9 Years

This Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled and filled into a refill hogshead at the Speyside Distillery in Kingussie, Speyside in 2014 then split into two small European oak Octave casks which had previously contained the ancient ‘Holy Wine’ of Tuscany, vin santo for a year-long period of secondary maturation. The whisky was then bottled at 53%.

The sweet Italian dessert wine has seasoned the oak to deliver a ‘finish’ of treacle toffee, bruised red apple, raisin and nut mix, burnt orange peel and cigar box.

Only 148 bottles produced from casks no. 23672 and 23673.
